The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course is another of the most popular PADI Specialty courses. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
Enriched Air Diver Course Overview
Why is the PADI Enriched Air Diver course one of the most popular courses?
Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver. Perfect for exploring shipwrecks in Malta and Gozo for example.

If you’re a PADI Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enrol in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course.
To complete the academic studies we estimate 6 hours of independent study.
You can complete this course either with dives or without dives.
To complete the course with two open water dives will take 1 day (8 hour day).
To complete the course with no dives will take 4 hours.
Most modern scuba equipment and dive computers are often used with enriched air, but we’ll ensure your gear meets manufacturer recommendations and local requirements. However, scuba tanks must meet oxygen service standards and be dedicated for use with enriched air. You’ll practise using oxygen analysers and special cylinder decals. We’ll explain other equipment you may need to enjoy enriched air diving. All required equipment for your course is supplied by ABC Diving.
The total, fully inclusive cost of the PADI Enriched Air Diver Course starts at €130.00 with our ‘Dry’ course option. The ‘Standard’ 2 dive option is €215.00 and our ‘Bespoke’ option is €460.00
This includes:
– All dive equipment needed for the completion of your course
– PADI educational materials
– Certification cost
